Welo Data seeks sharp, detail-oriented individuals for the Data Labeling Associate role focused on Marathi speakers. You will evaluate AI outputs, identify gaps, and shape real-world data quality decisions on a fully onsite team.

This is not a typical annotation job, as your feedback guides model behavior and evaluation frameworks. Ideal candidates have Marathi fluency, strong English, and 1–2 years of writing experience, with a background in data QA or analytics being helpful.

Qualifications

• Native-level Marathi language proficiency required.
• BS/BA or higher degree.
• 1–2 years of professional writing experience or similar work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior, identifying patterns and edge cases.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag where they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, actionable way.
