Central Point School District is seeking an Educational Assistant III (MAPS+) at Crater High School. The role supports a MAPS+ teacher, reinforces instruction, and provides intensive assistance to special needs students, including life-skills and behavioral support.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus an associate's degree or two years post-high school study, plus training such as CPI/First Aid. 181-day calendar and OSEA bargaining apply.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent (waivable by district).
• Associate's degree or two years post-high school study.
• Passing score on reading, writing, and math skills assessment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Must pass criminal background check and training/certification where required.

Aufgaben

• Assist MAPS+ teacher with instructional activities and progress checks.
• Provide intensive support to special needs students in MAPS+.
• Lead small groups and individual sessions to reinforce skills.
• Prepare materials and assist in IEP meetings and data tracking.
• Manage classroom safety and behavior; support transportation as needed.
