BAMSI in Taunton, MA is hiring a Residential Counselor for MAP programs. You will provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments, teaching daily living skills and promoting community integration.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans under clinician guidance, medication administration per MAP guidelines, and transporting residents to activities. A high school diploma, MAP certification, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• MAP certification required; willing to complete employer-provided training and obtain certification within 3 months.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility.

Responsabilités

• Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE).
• Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization.
• Implement Treatment Plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
