BAMSI, Inc. in Canton, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor MAP to provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments, helping with daily living skills and community integration.

The role requires MAP certification, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication. Training opportunities, a comprehensive benefits package, and commitment to trauma-informed care are offered.

Formación

• MAP certification required; must obtain within 3 months if not currently certified.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility.
• Excellent communication in English; basic computer proficiency.
• Experience in mental health or rehabilitative support preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE).
• Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills.
• Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.
