Job summary

Race Rock is seeking a Workforce Development Coordinator to build and strengthen the skilled manufacturing talent pipeline for its operations. You will connect workforce development, training, and retention; partnering with HR, Recruiting, Operations, Safety, Quality, and production leadership to align training with production needs.

The role reports to the Director of Recruiting and focuses on reducing skill gaps, improving retention, and creating sustainable talent sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher preferred in HR or related field.
• 3–5 years workforce development/manufacturing training experience.
• Experience with skilled trades or production environments preferred.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate Race Rock's job fairs and workforce-development events.
• Develop partnerships with technical schools, community colleges, and apprenticeship organizations.
• Track workforce metrics and maintain a monthly dashboard.
• Coordinate 30/60/90-day development checkpoints for production employees.
• Ensure new hires have trainers or mentors.
