Job summary

Race Rock Group is seeking a Workforce Development Coordinator to strengthen the skilled manufacturing talent pipeline. You will collaborate with HR, Operations, Safety and Quality to align workforce initiatives with production needs and technical competencies.

The role involves building external partnerships, coordinating training and tracking readiness across critical production positions to improve retention and reduce skill gaps.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in workforce development, manufacturing training or related roles.
• Experience supporting skilled trades or production environments preferred.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate Race Rock's job fairs, career fairs and workforce events, including planning and logistics.
• Develop partnerships with technical schools, colleges, apprenticeship programs and workforce agencies.
• Coordinate plant tours, classroom presentations and manufacturing outreach.
• Build talent pipelines for welding, fabrication, machine operation and related roles.
• Track candidates and transition qualified applicants into the Recruiting process.
• Maintain a monthly workforce development dashboard for HR and Operations.
