Job summary

Race Rock Group in Marion, OH, is seeking a hands-on professional to support growth of our steel fabrication and galvanizing operations. You will work across two facilities on projects from concept to completion, solving problems and driving improvements.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and are comfortable with AutoCAD or CNC tasks; willingness to learn new skills and coordinate with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, maintenance, or engineering support.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage projects and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects involving process improvements, production efficiency, new capabilities, and facility development.
• Identify production challenges and develop practical, long-term solutions.
• Coordinate projects across both facilities and work with various departments to achieve project goals.
• Create or modify AutoCAD drawings, CNC files, and other manufacturing documentation, or develop the skills necessary to do so.
• Assist with evaluating and implementing new equipment, products, technologies, and production methods.
• Track project progress, communicate results, and ensure projects are completed effectively.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative in developing solutions.
• Perform other project and operational development responsibilities as business needs evolve.
