Job summary

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 12-month W2 contract in Davenport, IA. Onsite from day one with 1st shift, overtime possible to meet production goals.

Provide hands-on shop floor support for assembly operations, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and support continuous improvement using SAP, MP Planner, and MS Office tools to maintain smooth production flow and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimal experience required; recent engineering graduates encouraged to apply.
• Engineering degree preferred; however relevant manufacturing or production experience will also be considered.
• Willingness to work onsite and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on shop floor support for assembly operations to maintain production flow and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot production, quality, tooling, and material issues to ensure efficient assembly line performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through process enhancements, work order creation, and basic fixture/tooling design.
• Utilize SAP, Microsoft Office, and MP Planner (John Deere specific) to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement solutions that improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Schedule

Onsite from Day 1

1st Shift (generally 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; some flexibility may be available)

Must be willing to work overtime and/or weekends as business needs require

Qualifications
