Job summary

BD is seeking a Manufacturing Unit Leader to drive operational success by championing people and processes for outstanding results in a fast-paced medical technology environment.

You will own strategic initiatives, manage budgets and staffing, and set ambitious SQDC goals. You’ll lead daily team management, schedule production with Logistics, and mentor teams toward production excellence and continuous improvement on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 10 years manufacturing leadership in a highly automated environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management, Engineering or related field with 5 years manufacturing leadership.
• Experience with the industry standard of cell structured organizations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of strategic initiatives and targets impacting business success.
• Drive all manufacturing unit activities with clear prioritization.
• Develop and manage the unit budget and staffing levels.
• Set and communicate ambitious SQDC goals.
• Lead daily team management and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with Logistics to establish production schedules and monitor delivery.
