ITW, a Fortune 300 diversified manufacturer, is seeking a General Technician Trainer in Frankfort, IL. The role focuses on facility-wide instruction, developing and maintaining training curricula, and training new General Technicians to meet production, safety, and quality standards.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will use multiple training methods, audit training outcomes, and drive continuous improvement in the program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in adult learning is a plus.
• Ability to present information in multiple ways to meet learners' needs.
• Basic computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Ability to read and understand written procedures.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Train all new employees on safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and environmental policies.
• Instruct New Hire General Technicians on core duties and production readiness.
• Operate production equipment and related assembly processes.
• Audit processes and personnel to ensure adherence to instructions and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain training curriculums, job aids, and checklists.
• Coordinate training with off-site courses and on-site guest trainers.
• Support leadership in implementing new programs and safety initiatives.
• Monitor employee development and identify improvement opportunities.
