Job summary

Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support StampTech Fasteners’ heat treat operations in Gallatin, TN.

You will perform general maintenance on heat treat furnaces and related equipment, ensuring products meet specifications while operating in high-heat environments. The role requires 2–3 years industrial experience, forklift operation, basic computer skills, and the ability to work overtime in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, following TS16949 procedures and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of industrial experience.
• Experience with operating a forklift.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work in hot environments for long periods.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication with colleagues and supervision.
• Ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Cover both sides of Heat Treat when needed for breaks and/or lunches.
• Operate and oversee heat treat lines to ensure proper loading and processing.
• Maintain machine controls and adjust parameters per specifications.
• Maintain process documentation consistently.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance repair parts for heat treat process.
