Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 6 years in manufacturing operations, workforce development, technical training, skilled trades, or a related field.
• Experience leading training programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of welding, tubing, electrical, insulation, or other industrial manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience developing training curricula, qualification standards, certification programs, and skills matrices.
• Ability to influence leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and improvement of training programs for hourly manufacturing employees.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Safety, and Production leadership to establish training strategies and qualification programs.
• Maintain training records and certifications and drive governance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen workforce capability, productivity, quality, and employee engagement.
• Develop career progression pathways for skilled trades employees.
