Job summary

Hexcel is seeking a Training Manager at our Burlington, WA location to develop, implement, and continuously improve training programs that support operational excellence and regulatory compliance. You will partner with site leaders to strengthen workforce capability and oversee training systems and compliance.

The role emphasizes leading LMS management, onboarding, safety and quality training, and collaboration across manufacturing, technical, and support functions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing, training, workforce development, quality, operations, or related field.
• Experience developing, implementing, coordinating training programs or employee development initiatives.
• Experience administering or using a Learning Management System (LMS) and maintaining training records.
• Experience developing training materials, SOPs, or competency assessments.
• Experience partnering with leaders across departments to identify skill gaps and support workforce development.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and training systems.
• Lean and Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments, identify skill gaps, and maintain training documentation, SOPs, and certification processes.
• Benchmark training programs and best practices to drive continuous improvement and workforce development.
• Develop and implement training programs across manufacturing, technical, and support functions, partnering with department leaders to build employee capability.
• Direct and coordinate site training activities, including regulatory, safety, quality, and technical training.
• Serve as the SME and administrator for the LMS.
• Monitor training compliance and support audits.
• Develop and maintain onboarding programs including safety, quality, and operational requirements.
• Lead initiatives promoting continuous learning and operational excellence.
