Job summary

Hexcel Corporation seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Manager for its Burlington, WA site. The role focuses on developing, implementing and managing EHS programs to protect employees and the environment, aligning with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.

You will collaborate with site leadership to drive continuous EHS improvement, manage audits, and lead cross-functional initiatives while maintaining ISO-based certifications and reporting performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of EHS experience in an industrial setting.
  • Experience coordinating regulatory compliance actions and root cause investigations.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing ISO 14001 or 45001 management systems.
  • Experience coordinating Process Safety Management (PSM) activities; familiarity with HAZOP/PHA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, maintain and manage EHS programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to foster a zero-incident culture and regulatory compliance.
  • Engage with employees and stakeholders to advance EHS culture and continuous improvement.
  • Interact with government agencies and internal EHS colleagues; act as liaison with auditors.
  • Develop EHS strategy, track metrics, and report performance using Cority.
