Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a Manufacturing Training Program Specialist in Asheville, NC for a 3-month W-2 contract. The role focuses on developing and supporting a structured training program to capture expert knowledge and translate it into practical materials and assessments.

You will work with Operations, Quality, EHS, and HR to define learning expectations from onboarding through proficiency, pilot the program, and hand over sustainable processes to plant owners.

Qualifications

• Experience turning tacit knowledge into structured training materials and competency assessments.
• Ability to build role-specific learning pathways with prerequisites and progression criteria.
• Strong collaboration with Operations, HR, Quality, EHS and experienced operators.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support implementation of Asheville’s Crawl, Walk, Run training program.
• Capture knowledge from experienced employees and convert into training materials and assessments.
• Create training matrices, track progress and handover to plant owners for sustained use.
• Coordinate pilot training, gather feedback, revise materials, and document signoffs and retraining triggers.
