Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of full-time or equivalent work experience in industrial/manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, or higher education training.
• Experience with CNC and manual machining, Blueprint reading, GD&T, precision measurement, Lean manufacturing, and 5S.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive), Adobe, and instructional technologies.

Responsibilities

• Delivers classroom and hands-on pre-hire assessment and training in machining and manufacturing fundamentals.
• Creates and adapts curriculum, teaching materials, activities, and assessments to client needs.
• Ensures training documents and evaluations meet NC Edge and NCCC standards.
• Assists with training equipment procurement, setup, utilization, and maintenance.
• Promotes programs through events, tours, and community engagement activities.
