Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Manufacturing Test Technician I to join the team in San Luis Obispo, CA. The role focuses on testing, validation, and documentation of purification systems, with a 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in a technical role or a relevant degree, strong electronics/mechanical skills, and experience with SAP or ERP systems. Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word is expected.

Qualifications

7-10 years in a technical role or a relevant technical degree/certification.
Extensive knowledge of electronics or mechanical systems.
Background in high-temperature processing equipment is preferred.
Experience with SAP or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle or JD Edwards).
Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

Follow Purifier Work Instructions and document discrepancies accurately.
Safely facilitate purification systems by securing gas lines and operating systems per engineering and quality standards.
Test various complex systems with mechanical/electronic tools and inspection equipment; ensure start-up and operation.
Perform automated/manual STPs, interpret results, and complete paperwork diligently.
Diagnose errors, collaborate with Engineering to determine solutions, and update documentation.
