Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Manufacturing Test Technician I for San Luis Obispo, CA, on a 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM). The role requires following detailed work instructions, securing gas lines, and testing complex systems to ensure proper operation.

You will diagnose issues and collaborate with Engineering, while maintaining accurate documentation and STP reporting. A technical degree or 7–10 years in a technical role is preferred, with ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/JD Edwards) and MS

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in a technical role or a relevant technical degree or certification.
• Extensive knowledge of electronics or mechanical systems.
• Background in high-temperature processing equipment is preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems such as Oracle or JD Edwards.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and Word programs.

Responsibilities

• Follow Purifier Work Instructions and document discrepancies accurately.
• Safely facilitate purification systems by securing gaslines and operating systems under engineering and quality control standards.
• Test a variety of complex systems using mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, fixtures, and inspection equipment, ensuring proper startup and operation.
• Perform automated and manual STP, interpret results, and complete related paperwork diligently.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems, partner with Engineering teams to determine solutions, and update documentation as necessary.
