Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Test Technician for an on-site, 12-month W2 contract in the energy management and automation sector. Training runs 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, after which the shift moves to second shift.

The role supports manufacturing and test engineering by maintaining test fixtures, testers, and electrical equipment, with emphasis on safe, available tools for production.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• Experience with DVMs, oscilloscopes, and basic hand tools.
• 1–3 years as a test technician.
• Experience with high voltage 480V testing is valued.

Job description

Our client, a global leader inenergy management and automation, is looking to hire aManufacturing Test Technician. This is an on-site role that will be meeting 6AM-2:30PM M-F during training, and will shift to second shift after training ends! This role is a 12-month W2 contract opportunity with benefits & paid holidays!

This role supports manufacturing and test engineering operations by keeping test fixtures, testers, and electrical equipment safe and available for production. Experience with using and maintaining test equipment required.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• Associates Degree
• Ability to use basic electronic test and measurement equipment, such as DVM’s, oscilloscopes, and to correctly interpret the results. The same goes for basic hand tools
• 1-3 Years of experience as a test technician
• Experience working with electric test equipment (DVMs/Oscilloscopes)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Good computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word and Excel
• Prior experience with high voltage 480 volts testing highly valued!

What You Will Be Doing

• Work under the direction of the Manufacturing & Test Engineering Manager and collaborate with Test Engineers to perform maintenance and troubleshoot test fixture and equipment to ensure standards are met
• Help minimize equipment downtime, support testing standards, and ensure work is being completed in compliance with safety regulations
• Ensure test equipment is properly maintained and operational
