Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Test Engineering to oversee testing across a fast‑growing defense hardware portfolio. You will set strategies, lead teams, and ensure rigorous testing protocols that deliver high‑quality, scalable production.

This role requires 8+ years in manufacturing test, leadership experience, and strong automation, LabVIEW, and hardware test know‑how.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in manufacturing test.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Minimum of 2+ years as a people manager leading manufacturing test engineering teams.
Experience with test automation and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

Direct the manufacturing test engineering team, set objectives, guide initiatives, and assess outcomes.
Oversee and improve the manufacturing test strategy for scalability across products.
Collaborate with SEIT and development engineering for design testability.
Implement advancements in automation and process efficiency.
Maintain test capabilities across product lines from system checkout to component validation.
Evaluate test data to identify product and process improvements.
Communicate strategic visions to stakeholders for scaling from LRIP to FRP.
Lead procurement and ROI analyses for new test equipment.
Champion safety, cost reduction, quality, and productivity improvements.
Foster a culture of innovation and accountability in engineering.
