Job summary

ZT Systems seeks a Test Manager to lead and scale manufacturing test strategy, operations, and validation across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and suppliers to build robust test architectures and improve efficiency in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities include developing test programs, leading teams, measuring KPIs, and driving continuous improvement leveraging DOE/SPC methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• 8+ years in manufacturing test engineering, validation, or quality in high-volume settings.
• 3+ years leading test engineering teams and complex programs.
• Strong knowledge of test systems across board, module, system, rack levels.
• Experience deploying production test solutions for electronics/server products.
• Expertise in failure analysis and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of manufacturing test strategies across levels.
• Manage test engineering teams for development, validation, and production support.
• Define test requirements, coverage, KPIs, and quality metrics.
• Oversee design and maintenance of test infrastructure including hardware/software.
• Drive DFT initiatives with product engineering to improve testability.
• Establish standardized testing methodologies across sites.
• Analyze yield, failure, and reliability data to drive improvements.
• Lead RCA efforts for manufacturing and test-related issues.
• Use DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and reliability analysis to improve quality.
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and design teams for ramp-ups.
• Drive continuous improvement in yield, throughput, cycle time, and cost.
• Develop and manage project plans, resources, budgets, and timelines.
• Present metrics and improvement plans to senior leadership.
