ZT Systems seeks an experienced Manager of MFG Test Software & Engineering to lead a cross‑functional team responsible for developing, sustaining, and optimizing manufacturing test systems and infrastructure. You will align user requirements with robust software solutions and comprehensive testing procedures.

You will oversee a team comprising Program Managers and Software Developers, guiding architecture, standards for hardware test scripts, and full‑stack software development across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, information technology, or related field.
• 2–4 years in software development, systems engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of direct people management or technical team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional team of Program Managers and Software Developers through the SDLC to deliver high‑quality software.
• Translate business/user requirements into architecture diagrams and system designs with the tech lead.
• Define standards for hardware test scripts and plans to evaluate motherboards, CPUs, storage, and PCIe devices.
• Oversee front‑end and back‑end development (HTML/CSS/JS frameworks and Python/Java/Node.js).
• Ensure sustaining support for server and rack‑level test software in production facilities.
• Collaborate with test engineers, manufacturing engineers, failure analysis, IT SFC, and network/system teams to align on testing requirements and quality.
• Identify risks in testing processes and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor team members and create growth plans, track performance, and support career progression.
• Manage workload, optimize throughput, and prevent burnout through thoughtful task allocation.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, high‑performing team culture bridging software, program management, and cross‑functional engineering.
