Job summary

ASML US is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to perform factory acceptance tests for DUV laser systems. You will join a skilled team testing lasers, calibrating equipment, and validating processes to ensure high-quality delivery to customers.

The role requires hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and collaboration with design engineers. On-site work in San Diego, strong physics/engineering fundamentals, and experience with optical components are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics is required or preferred.
• 2+ years of related work experience is preferred.
• Experience with precision optical components is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Tests laser systems and validates manufacturing processes.
• Performs functional tests, optical alignment, equipment calibration, station setup.
• Recommends changes in design, methods, and procedures to enhance product quality.
• Solves problems through troubleshooting and leveraging available resources.
• Uses specialized test equipment to assemble, test, and troubleshoot.
• Trains others on test processes and troubleshooting when required.
• Interfaces with design engineers for special tests and experiments.
• Documents and monitors parameters critical to product quality or operations.
• Maintains a clean work area and is responsible for designated tools.
• Installs electrical connectors to modules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Working hours on-site in San Diego.
