Job summary

Cornelis Networks seeks an Engineering professional with Manufacturing Test Engineering experience, including hardware and software development. The role focuses on test fixture development, failure analysis, and NPI collaboration to ensure smooth transition from prototype to full production.

The candidate will work with Linux-based systems, scripting, and programmable components, in a fast‑growing semiconductor environment at an on‑site facility in Wayne, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years in a technology-based Manufacturing/Test Engineering environment.
• Experience with Bash, Linux, Python, C/C++.
• Experience with PLM systems – product structure, BOM, AVL, and compliance attributes.
• History of setting up and working with functional test stations within a Manufacturing environment.
• Experience with FPGA’s and other programmable components.
• Knowledge of high-speed signaling protocols (I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet, PCIe).

Responsibilities

• Develops test processes and procedures for contract manufacturers.
• Designs and deploys test fixtures including PCB fixtures and assemblies.
• Creates documentation with fixture setup/diagrams and step-by-step instructions.
• Delivers test process training to contract manufacturers and internal teams.
• Develops troubleshooting tools to analyze production test failures.
• Maintains production test procedures in BOMs as Reference Only items.
• Leads NPI testing and supports transition from prototype to full production.
