Job summary

Cornelis Networks, Inc. in Wayne, PA, is seeking an Electronics/Hardware Engineer to drive PCB and system-level design for next-generation Fabric platforms.

You will collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams from concept through production, delivering architectures, board layouts, and verifications. The role requires a BS/MS in EE/CE, 5+ years of hands-on board design, strong debugging skills, and experience with Cadence/OrCAD/Mentor tools, FPGA/Verilog, and lab

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with Platform/test card specification, design, debug and bring up in lab.
• Strong digital board design, basic signal integrity, and schematic capture tools (Cadence, ORCAD, Mentor Graphics).
• System-level debug and root-cause analysis experience.
• Experience with lab equipment (DMM, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and marketing to define platform architectures and board requirements.
• Develop system/board architectures to implement products.
• Evaluate and select components to support design goals.
• Create engineering documentation for designs.
• Develop design files (schematic entry, FPGA code, source code) to implement designs.
• Support layout of designs.
• Assist software integration.
• Support system test for product qualification.
• Support compliance and regulatory testing.
• Coordinate with mechanical, software, system test, and manufacturing to move products to production.
