Job summary

Cornelis Networks is hiring an Electronics Hardware Engineer based in Wayne, PA on-site. You will drive end-to-end PCB and system-level designs for the next-generation fabric platforms, collaborating with software, mechanical, and QA teams.

The role requires a BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of experience in board design, signal integrity, and lab measurement. We offer equity, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of platform/test card design experience.
• Strong digital board design and signal integrity skills.
• Experience with lab equipment (DMM, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software, mechanical engineering and marketing to develop Platform level architectures and board level design requirements, schedules, and cost targets.
• Develop system/board architectures to implement the products.
• Evaluate and select components to support the design goals.
• Develop the necessary engineering documentation to support the designs.
• Develop the design files (schematic entry, FPGA code, source code, etc.) to implement the designs.
• Support the layout of the designs and integration with software.
• Support the system test department on product qualification and regulatory testing.
• Work with other departments to move the product into production.
