Job summary

Cornelis Networks designs and manufactures high-performance network interconnects for AI and HPC datacenters. We seek a Manufacturing Test Engineer with 3+ years’ experience to build functional test fixtures, automate tests with Bash, Python, and C/C++, and support NPI from prototype to production.

You will troubleshoot production tests, maintain test procedures, and collaborate with Engineering and Contract Manufacturers to ensure robust, scalable test solutions in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields is required or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a technology-based Manufacturing/Test Engineering environment.
• Experience in Bash, Linux, Python, C/C++.
• Experience working with PLM systems – product structure, bills of material, AVL, and compliance attributes.
• History of setting up and working with functional test stations within a Manufacturing environment.
• Experience with FPGA’s and other programmable components; familiarity with I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet, PCIe.

Responsibilities

• Develops functional test processes and fixtures for contract manufacturers.
• Provides test process training to manufacturer’s technical groups and Cornelis Networks personnel.
• Develops troubleshooting tools to analyze production test failures.
• Maintains production test procedures in BOM references.
• Supports Production and RMA testing as part of Manufacturing Operations.
• Monitors test failures and RMA trends for improvement.
• Leads NPI testing and ensures smooth design-to-production transitions.
• Collaborates between Engineering and Manufacturing for new designs.
