Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Mechanical Eng or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Familiar with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS.
• Experience testing PCBA/electronic assemblies with contract manufacturers.
• Familiar with test equipment: power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, DAQ sensors.
• Strong root-cause analysis of non-conforming hardware.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with PLM, MES, TES systems.
• Experience integrating electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own production test flow from system checks to component validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in production.
• Maintain test capabilities across the value stream for system and component tests.
• Improve automation, throughput, and test coverage (DfM).
• Create clear test work instructions for MES and train technicians.
• Develop a library of failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Determine root causes and recommend corrective actions (RCCA).
• Support returns and failure analysis with Design/Quality/Manufacturing teams.
• Provide feedback to early-stage test design for NPI.
• Analyze test data and generate detailed defect reports.
• Collaborate with design engineers on product enhancements from testing insights.
• Optimize test strategies to reduce time while preserving quality.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment for precision.
• Lead continuous improvement in testing processes and methods.
• Execute testing activities as required.
