Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, Shell, or others.
• Experience with hardware communication protocols: USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, etc.
• 3+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably test design of electro-mechanical hardware in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of complex electromechanical systems and reliability practices.
• Experience developing full system test plans and executing them on fast-paced development timelines.
• Experience testing sensors, actuators, and electrical components; able to prototype tests.

Responsibilities

• Build a broad range of test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream, from system checkouts to in-process validation.
• Develop, execute, and manage test ecosystem to de-risk hardware and meet reliability targets.
• Perform hands-on, data-driven root cause analysis of electromechanical subsystems.
• Design and implement semi-automated testing equipment for subsystem characterization.
• Collaborate with design teams to perform risk assessments and own test deployment in production.
• Produce and maintain testing logs and error code libraries for quick resolution.
• Create controlled test processes usable by technicians in MES or TES.
