Qualifications

• Requires an associate's degree in engineering or sciences and 5 years of relevant technical experience, or associate's degree with >1 year as a technician.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 1 year of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in a technical discipline related to the assignment without prior work experience.

Responsibilities

• Adherent to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Understands and can apply Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Understands and can apply structured problem solving (DMAIC).
• Support the qualification and operation of processing equipment and metrology gauges.
• Execute planned process experiments, collect and analyze data and report results.
• Solve day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems on shift.
• Maintain and improve equipment and processes in areas like vacuum deposition, wet coatings, laser scribing, module assembly, material handling, and automation.
• Collect, prepare, and submit samples for Material and Failure analysis.
• Perform data collection relating to daily equipment performance and product performance.
• Collaborate with associates and supplier representatives to complete projects.
• Maintain communication with production, maintenance, and engineering teams.
• Draft process work-instructions and other documentation under senior engineers' oversight.
• Other duties as assigned.
