Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in technical discipline or 2+ years machine experience.
• One year First Solar technical experience.
• Six months as Temporary Manufacturing Engineering Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and qualification of systems and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Support pilot-line operations to define and transition new production processes.
• Provide training to production associates.
• Develop and update internal documentation and SOPs.
• Interface with internal and supplier personnel to complete projects.
• Ensure processes run per the Process Control Plan and respond to SPC alarms.
• Execute planned experiments and report results.
• Collect tool and product performance data and analyze.
• Disposition non-conforming product per criteria.
