Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for the warehouse in Columbia, MD. You will be responsible for product manufacturing, packaging, and shipping support, operating production equipment and maintaining logs of finished goods.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in a warehouse/shop/plant setting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Forklift experience is preferred; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Understanding and experience with machinery and basic troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse, shop, or plant environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Up to 10% travel may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operation of production equipment
• Maintain accurate production logs of finished goods
• Inspection of raw materials for defects and required traceability
• Quality control testing of finished products
• Packaging and labeling of finished products
• Collaborate with engineering and management to improve production rates and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of equipment
• Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock records
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• All other duties as assigned
