Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for the warehouse in Columbia, MD. You will be responsible for production, packaging, and shipping support as part of TSTRATA Strengthening Solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in a warehouse environment, forklift experience, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel up to 10% may be required. We offer a collaborative culture with 24/7 safety and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, shop, or plant experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment.
• Maintain accurate production logs of finished goods.
• Inspect raw materials for defects and traceability.
• Quality control testing of finished products.
• Package and label finished products.
• Collaborate with engineering and management to improve production rates and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of equipment.
• Organize inventory and maintain stock records.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• All other duties as assigned.

TSTRATA STRENGTHENING SOLUTIONS provides comprehensive solutions to owners, engineers, and contractors through field investigation, engineering support, and development of repair and strengthening services for concrete structures. With offices located across the nation and select international markets, we serve the Commercial, Public, Transportation, Industrial, and Power sectors to address complex construction challenges related to concrete infrastructure repair, retrofit, and maintenance.

We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Technician for the warehouse located in Columbia, MD. As a Manufacturing Technician for TSTRATA, you will be accountable for product manufacturing, packaging, and shipping support.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

• Set-up and operation of production equipment
• Maintain accurate production logs of finished goods
• Inspection of raw materials for defects and required traceability
• Quality control testing of finished products
• Packaging and labeling of finished products
• Collaborate with engineering and management to improve production rates and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of equipment
• Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock records
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• All other duties as assigned

Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:

• High school diploma or GED
• Understanding and experience with machinery, assembly tools, and basic troubleshooting
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse, shop, plant environment preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Up to 10% travel may be required for this position
