Job description

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI, US, 53051-6149

Company: Hubbell Incorporated

Hubbell is currently looking for a Manufacturing Technician who will be responsible for supporting production/operations at the Mayville, WI facility through a variety of engineering, quality and continuous improvement activities for the Utility Automation manufacturing location.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support for production, quality and manufacturing engineering to sustain/improve production performance.
  2. Create standard work instructions and documentation for process and product changes as needed.
  3. Provide direct labor employees with technical support/training.
  4. Support Quality Control Planning, Product Testing, and Part Inspections.
  5. Participate in the ISO 9001 certification process and maintain the Quality Management System.
  6. Lead troubleshooting activities for process issues that arise.
  7. Support and participate in problem solving and troubleshooting activities for manufacturing.
  8. Provide support for maintaining the corrective action process.
  9. Initiate continuous improvement activities.
  10. Support ergonomic changes in the manufacturing area.
  11. Process Engineering Change Orders.
  12. Work with Product Engineering in product changes.
  13. Ensure all products as-built meet the order specification before leaving the factory.
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Degree in a Technical area preferred; the right mix of manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
  • AutoCAD skills a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ERP system (SAP) is a plus.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset is critical.
  • Familiarity with and/or working in an ISO environment is a plus.
