Job summary

Spectra Logic is hiring a Manufacturing Technician IV in Boulder, CO. The role involves troubleshooting, building electromechanical assemblies, and tracking progress via ERP and JIRA.

You will collaborate across manufacturing, quality, warehousing, and engineering teams to drive root-cause actions and continuous improvements. The position requires detail-oriented work, ability to manage multiple builds in parallel, and involvement in new product launches.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting internal failures and customer returned products from the field to root cause and preventative actions.
• Provide feedback to engineering and management on process, documentation, tools, and test equipment improvements.
• Utilize test software and ERP systems to track testing progress and inventory status.
• Build and test electromechanical assemblies for robotics and power systems products.
• Enter escalations and solutions into JIRA for failure history tracking.
• Participate in new product launches and prototype builds.

Manufacturing Technician IV

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting internal failures and customer returned products from the field to drive to root cause and establish preventative actions
• Provide meaningful feedback to engineering and management team on improvements to our process, documentation, tools, and test equipment
• Utilize test software and ERP systems to track progress of testing and inventory status
• Building and Testing electromechanical assemblies for our robotics and power systems products.
• Entering escalations and solutions into JIRA, our data tracking and failure history system.
• Participating in new product launches and prototype builds.

In office 5 days a week

Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Boulder, CO office. Relocation assistance is not available. Only local candidates will be considered

Compensation

$23.75 - 28.50/ hour. While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate’s actual salary will be competitive based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience within the range.
