Job summary

Spectra Logic is hiring a Manufacturing Technician IV in Boulder, CO. The role involves troubleshooting, building electromechanical assemblies, and tracking progress via ERP and JIRA.

You will collaborate across manufacturing, quality, warehousing, and engineering teams to drive root-cause actions and continuous improvements. The position requires detail-oriented work, ability to manage multiple builds in parallel, and involvement in new product launches.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with many departments including manufacturing, quality, warehousing, purchasing, planning, shipping, and engineering.
• Self-motivated and able to plan own workload to keep multiple builds and tests going in parallel.
• Able to follow detailed procedures and perform quality checks as necessary.
• Flexibility and team player mentality.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting internal failures and customer returned products from the field to root cause and preventative actions.
• Provide feedback to engineering and management on process, documentation, tools, and test equipment improvements.
• Utilize test software and ERP systems to track testing progress and inventory status.
• Build and test electromechanical assemblies for robotics and power systems products.
• Enter escalations and solutions into JIRA for failure history tracking.
• Participate in new product launches and prototype builds.
