Job summary

Medtronic plc in North Haven, CT, is seeking an Engineering Technician I to support manufacturing operations onsite. You will assist engineers to improve cycle times, maintain equipment performance, and uphold quality and safety standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with basic manufacturing knowledge and a willingness to troubleshoot processes. A regulated production environment and GMP familiarity are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 0+ years of technical, manufacturing, operations, or engineering support experience.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, instrumentation, or production operations.
• Experience collecting, documenting, or analyzing operational data.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process-related issues.
• Experience working within established procedures and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in improving production cycle time, yield, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor manufacturing equipment and instruments to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Collect and document operating, calibration, inspection, testing, and repair data.
• Troubleshoot equipment, instrumentation, and process-related issues to minimize production disruptions.
• Analyze equipment and process deviations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare reports and trend analyses using operational, salvage, and performance metrics.
• Maintain process documentation in accordance with SOPs and manufacturing requirements.
• Support compliance with quality, safety, and GMP standards.
