Job summary

nLIGHT, Inc. in Camas, Washington is seeking Manufacturing Technicians to sustain high-volume production of laser and semiconductor components and troubleshoot equipment to keep lines running.

You will collaborate with process engineering on improvements, perform routine maintenance, and support safety and cleanliness in the work area. Starting pay depends on qualifications, with shift differentials for evening and overnight hours.

Qualifications

• 6 months as MSIII or 1+ year in high-volume electronics/semiconductor production.
• Able to learn company policies and complete routine tasks.
• Read sketches, blueprints, and schematics.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of automated production tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; collect data.
• Maintain routine process equipment maintenance and calibrations.
• Collaborate with process engineering on improvements.
• Lead training and certification of production personnel.
• Document processes in Prototype and High-volume lines.
• Eliminate equipment issues from production critical path.
• Drive continuous improvement using SPC, DOE, lean, and six sigma.
