Salary: $17.00 per hour plus a $250 Sign-On Bonus

Position: Manufacturing Technician - Praters, Inc.

Details: $17.00 per hour | Monday - Thursday; 6:30 am - 5:00 pm | Full-time; Direct Hire

Additional Incentives: $250 Sign-on Bonus | Eligible for pay increase up to $20.00 per hour after 90-Day Evaluation

Job Summary

This role involves manufacturing portable court panels and weightlifting platforms. Responsibilities include building subfloors, nailing panels, screening, painting graphics, and cutting floor panels to size at our Rossville, GA location.

Responsibilities

• Work independently without constant supervision.
• Lift, bend, and carry equipment and materials, sometimes exceeding 100 lbs.
• Operate and perform maintenance on construction tools such as saws, drills, sanders, buffers, and nail guns.
• Follow procedures for quality and safety, maintain cleanliness.
• Read tape measures and perform calculations for cuts.
• Deliver panels and courts between company locations.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Represent Praters, Inc. professionally and support company goals.
• Adhere to company policies and ethics.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills Needed

• Proficiency in reading tape measures/rulers.
• Manufacturing or production experience.
• Basic carpentry or construction skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift over 100 lbs. with team assistance.
• Organized, team-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating company vehicles).
• Must be 21 or older (for vehicle operation).
• Ability to pass a 7-panel drug screening and background check within 7 years.
