Job Description

The Division Manufacturing Technician supports the build, manufacturing, and flow of products developed by the Division Engineering Team (CET). This role contributes to division growth and profitability by manufacturing new and existing parts using current and innovative production equipment and techniques.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing the engineering tool database within TDM software, ensuring standards are maintained.
2. Collaborating with Programmers and AE's to determine tooling components.
3. Managing the tool library to prevent unnecessary expansion.
4. Performing tool build verification programming with Zoller, Heimer, or equivalent.
5. Creating inspection routines on the Zoller.
6. Working with IMC and other vendors to develop new tools and track project statuses.
7. Troubleshooting tooling issues in Catia and Vericut.
8. Gaging cut new tools to determine cutting parameters stored in TDM.
9. Collaborating with vendors to enhance TDM capabilities.
10. Handling facilities and maintenance as needed.
11. Managing logistics, including shipping and receiving.
12. Supporting 6S practices.
13. Performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

The technician should understand manufacturing technologies and best practices as set by Engineers, supporting products throughout their lifecycle.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in aerostructures or aerospace manufacturing environments.
• Strong organizational skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of metal machining and manufacturing.
