G&W Electric in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Team Leader I to support Production Leads, Supervisors and Managers in daily manufacturing operations, ensuring on-time delivery to customers. You will train and develop production team members, coach cross functional teams to resolve challenges, manage MRO inventories and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong English communication and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Holds a High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and with ERP/MMS systems is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading employees within an area of responsibility on various processes and operations.
• Assist in training and development of production team members.
• Coordinate with operations and cross functional teams to identify and resolve production challenges.
• Manage MRO inventories and requisition shop supplies and tools to limit production disruptions.
• Support continuous improvement projects and implement standard production processes.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues at different levels of the organization.
