Job summary

Qualifications

• Leadership experience of 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Model SEL values and leadership characteristics to employees.
• Provide clear direction to work group to meet department production objectives.
• Understand upstream and downstream work areas for accurate communication and product flow.
• Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, mentor and coach employees, and assist with performance reviews.
• Assess training needs and oversee training implementation.
• Address personnel issues constructively under guidance.
• Create, update and control area work instructions and reports.
• Apply root cause and continuous improvement tools to address area quality issues.
• Promote safety standards and assist in implementing safety initiatives.
• Model and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
