Job summary

OPW Propane Energy Solutions in Conover, NC, is seeking a Team Lead to supervise a diverse production team in our onsite facility. The base schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:00 pm with overtime required as needed to meet production goals.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency, including leading safety talks, coordinating with maintenance, managing workflows, and developing team members to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to perform work in a safe manner and stand for long periods.
• 1-3 years of leadership experience as a team lead or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety toolbox talks, participate in plant safety meetings, and kaizen events.
• Perform in-process layered audits and maintain documentation.
• Maintain data boards and track team performance and work order status.
• Review and execute work-center schedules for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to optimize machine uptime.
