Job summary

OPW Fueling Components, LLC in Smithfield, NC is seeking a manufacturing/production associate to support assembly, molding, shipping, and new product development. You will help meet daily production targets, monitor workflow, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading procedures, performing inspections, training staff, and contributing to lean projects. Overtime and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 30-60-90 day review program completion required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and manufacturing instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime and assigned shift.
• Must wear PPE as required in a fiberglass environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet and maintain daily production rates and goals.
• Schedule and monitor production following instructions.
• Perform cell activities and documentation for the assigned cell.
• Follow standard work instructions and address quality or safety issues.
• Inspect own and others' work for correctness per drawings.
• Train production staff and participate in continuous improvement.
