Job summary

JCB North America is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead for our Pooler, GA facility. This role provides frontline leadership, coaching, and day-to-day operational support to ensure safe, efficient production while maintaining quality and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing areas.

The position is full-time and non-exempt, requiring a hands-on leader who can balance production demands with coaching and development of team members. On-site work at 2000 Bamford Blvd, Pooler, GA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of heavy-duty manufacturing, assembly, or production experience.
• 1–2 years in a Team Lead, Lead Operator, or supervisory role.
• Hands-on production environment proficiency.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
• Must pass drug screens, background checks, and pre-employment tests as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team in a fast-paced heavy equipment manufacturing environment.
• Drive daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and take action to maintain production efficiency and throughput.
• Serve as the first point of contact for production issues, escalations, and problem resolution.
• Perform and support assembly and sub-assembly operations using hand and power tools.
• Safely operate and oversee overhead cranes, manipulators, and assembly equipment.
• Provide daily coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
