Job summary

Lutron Electronics seeks a Talent Development Manager - Manufacturing to shape learning for its U.S. and Puerto Rico manufacturing operations. You will partner with plant leaders, supervisors, subject matter experts, HR, and employees to align learning with operational priorities and business results.

Responsibilities include building a strategy, designing engaging learning experiences, managing the portfolio, and coaching leaders to develop people across multiple locations and shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include technical education, management, process engineering, industrial technology, or related field.
• 12+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years in people leadership or large-scale projects/initiatives.
• 7+ years in Learning & Development or related field in manufacturing.
• Experience implementing skill-based development programs.
• Willingness to travel to PA, VA, TX, RI, and Puerto Rico about once per month.
• Spanish language fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build the learning strategy for Manufacturing, partnering with plant leaders and HR.
• Design learning that improves performance across manufacturing roles and levels.
• Create and manage the learning portfolio for Manufacturing and evaluate external training partners.
• Help leaders build a culture of development and coach supervisors and plant leaders.
