Job summary

Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC, an American Foods Group company, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing roles at the Long Prairie, MN facility. The role partners with facility leadership to assess hiring needs and implement short- and long-term staffing strategies.

You will source, screen, interview, manage offers, and onboard while using iCIMS to track postings and candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting of hourly manufacturing employees.
• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, Spanish and/or Haitian-Creole; bilingual preferred.
• Prior experience in high-volume recruiting in beef, protein, or food manufacturing.
• Current knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Previous experience using iCIMS applicant tracking system.
• Strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Lead and support all recruitment lifecycle activities: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, onboarding.
• Drive recruiting process improvements to increase efficiency and candidate experience.
• Coordinate and/or attend off-site and onsite job fairs.
• Leverage social media, local colleges, and publications to attract talent.
• Collaborate with VP of HR to align national search and marketing strategies.
