Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably food/beverage.
• 5+ years leadership experience with a team-based approach to decision making.
• Lean Six Sigma experience demonstrated by a major improvement project.
• Strong skills in TPM or lean manufacturing, finance and accounting, project management, human relations, communications, and statistics/problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Optimize operational efficiencies to support the facility’s production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping operations.
• Optimize ingredient and packaging material usage to minimize waste.
• Ensure operational practices are followed to control inventories.
• Ensure PepsiCo financial and accounting control procedures are followed to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Maintain product quality and sanitation standards.
• Adjust production plans on a shift-by-shift basis to prevent service issues.
• Coordinate improvements to meet the site operating plan and close cost gaps.
• Develop front-line hourly personnel through training and communication.
• Manage direct reports through reviews, coaching, and development plans.
• Develop teams to solve day-to-day issues and achieve performance goals.
• Lead change initiatives while minimizing people impact.
• Communicate cross-functionally to resolve operational issues.
• Motivate team members to meet plan goals.
• Oversee maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Develop talent through PepsiCo Growth and Leadership Models and PDCA processes.
• Champion a strong safety culture.
• Drive profitability through continuous improvement in margins and costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead AM pillar implementation.
• Oversee measures like efficiency, yield loss, inventory accuracy, and transactional accuracy.
• Oversee CIL/CL compliance and minor stop-loss, SRC completion.
• Administer policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance and plant-floor presence.
• Lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally; may work in poor weather.
• May operate forklift and manufacturing equipment; may require off-shift and weekend work; travel <5%.
