Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Foundry Supervisor to oversee hourly personnel and ensure safe, efficient production of quality pipe joining components. You will manage shift operations, enforce safety rules, schedule attendance, and drive continuous improvement in area performance.

The role requires at least five years in foundry operations, a high school graduate (college preferred), and strong leadership and communication skills. Extended hours and weekends may be required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate (College Preferred).
• Five years’ experience in Foundry operations.
• Must be willing to work extended hours, weekends, or other shifts if required.
• Must keep a professional appearance.
• Must maintain a good performance and attendance record.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of handling exerting and/or stressful situations.
• Must be able to conduct and participate in meetings.

Responsibilities

• Schedule employees to attend safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety training.
• Supervise hourly personnel and ensure area performance.
• Maintain continuity between shifts on area practices.
• Monitor operations to ensure equipment is in good condition and safe.
• Complete daily production and downtime reports.
• Distribute overtime and enforce bargaining procedures.
