We seek an experienced maintenance supervisor to lead maintenance teams, ensure safety compliance, plan preventive maintenance, and keep our US facilities operating reliably.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Five years industrial maintenance experience.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or other shifts if required.
• Professional appearance.
• Must maintain a good performance and attendance record.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of handling exerting and/or stressful situations.
• Must be able to conduct and participate in meetings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees understand safety rules and policies.
• Maintain safe and sanitary working conditions in the facility.
• Ensure OSHA rights are understood by employees.
• Conduct safety training topics as required.
• Schedule attendance at safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
• Investigate accidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.
• Direct maintenance to ensure uninterrupted facility operation and proper condition.
• Plan and oversee maintenance labor and reporting to meet procedures.
• Verify completion and routing of Maintenance Work Orders.
• Distribute maintenance workforce across hours and areas of responsibility.
• Coordinate maintenance with Facilities Engineering and Plant Production management.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance with emphasis on preventive maintenance.
• Establish preventive maintenance procedures with Facilities Engineering and review effectiveness.
• Audit maintenance performance to ensure high quality and productivity.
• Recommend repairs or replacements based on histories and staffing needs.
• Maintain minimum inventory in maintenance stores for uninterrupted operation.
• Provide necessary tools and procedures for efficient workforce utilization.
• Participate in Quality Improvement Process and safety training.
• Publish a monthly report on maintenance activity and expenditures.
• Maintain all areas under control in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date overtime records.
